With the new iPod Touch 3.1 update that was recently released, you can now jailbreak iPhone 3.1 and jailbreak iPod Touch 3.1 firmware.

i updated to 3.1 but the trick is using redsnow 0.8 u need to update the software to 3.1 through itunes and then using the 3.0 firmware jailbreak that with redsnow then when you check the software version you should be running on 3.1 it worked for me now i just got to figure out how to do it on the ipod touch
